I was trying to decide where would I want to spend my birthday-spa day. Last year, I went to Zen Spa in Delima. But while browsing through the net on where to go to a good spa (mind you before that, I had back pains for as long as I can remember .. I call it my stress-pain). Anyways, I was browsing through net when I came across Sanctuary Guide Brunei, the author recommended Thann Sanctuary Spa in Kiulap. I decided to give it a try.
It was a Tuesday morning, came in to the Spa without an appointment (cross-fingers when I walked through the door). I was greeted with open arms by the staffs. They ask the reason why why I was there, what is wrong.. and of course, I told them about my stress-pains. He suggested to take up their signature massage called "Thann Signature Aromatic Massage" with a choice of 6 different aromatic massage oil. After deciding, I was moved to the waiting area (huge rattan chair) and was served with tea (non-caffeine) and wet warm towel. Very relaxing and I love the tea!!!

A few minutes later, I was shown to the massage room. There was a shower area in the room for the clients to take a quick shower before the massage. The spa also provided its own shower products to be used freely.
The massage I took was for 120mins and it was soooo relaxing. I think I slept a few times during the massage. After that my back felt really good. I highly recommend Thann Spa although its a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it!
My massage for 120mins costs $85 (i thought it was a reasonable price).
