Tiramisu Recipe

Ingedients A:
2 eggs (separate the whites and yolks)
1 cup of sugar (1/2 cup and 1/2 cup)

2 blocks of Philadelphia cheese

1 can of nestle cream

Ingredients B:
1 packet (250gms) or 1 1/2 packet (200gms) Ladyfingers biscuits
- I bought this in Supasave

1/2 tablespoon of coffee ( I use nescafe brand)

1/2 tablespoon of milo

1/2 tablespoon of sugar

For Ingredient A:

(1) In a bowl, mix together egg whites and 1/2 cup of sugar until fluffy (or until the texture is similar to whipped cream)

(2) In a separate bowl, mix together egg yolks, 1/2 cup of sugar, Philadelphia cheese, nestle cream.

* I use an electric hand-mixer for both (1) and (2)

(3) Stir together (1) into (2). Mix well.

For Ingredient B:

(1) Mix coffee, milo & sugar together with a bit of hot water.

- I usually add more milo (about another 1/2 tablespoon) to reduce the coffee bitterness but depending on your taste and preference.

(2) Then add warm warm (just enough for the ladyfingers)

(3) Hold the ladyfinger horizontally and dip it into the liquid mixture only for 1 sec.

- ladyfingers absorbs the liquid quickly making it to become soft. Careful not to dip it for too long.

- I recommend dipping on side for 1 sec then one side for another 1 sec, instead of completely dipping the whole ladyfinger

For the final step:

(1) Get a glass bowl (I prefer the rectangle glass bowls)

(2) After you dip the ladyfingers, arrange it in the glass bowls.

- Suggest dip one ladyfinger and straight away arrange it. Then dip another ladyfinger then straight away arrange. DO NOT dip all the ladyfingers all at once.

(3) then get the cream mixture and spread it on top of the dipped ladyfingers.

(4) then arrange ladyfingers.... then spread another layer of the cream

(5) Once the last layer of cream is nicely spread. Get extra milo and sprinkle it on top of the cream

Then you're done. Keep it in the fridge to cool and is ready to eat in 30mins (or less, if you're not patient).
