Weather

Looking at the weather in the past few days, it been cold, and wet. Looking at the days ahead, it would be highly the same, mostly cloudy with a lot of rainfall. I looked up the information at Weathercity.

Brunei's weather is governed by the equatorial monsoon winds. Apparently now we are experiencing the North-east Monsoon, the season predominates between December to mid-March. Another season regime that we experience is the South-west monsoon, occurs from mid-May to end of October.

Rainfall is generally heavier in October to January and lighter from March to August. (A serious note to take when you're planning your wedding dates).

Quite a dangerous and unforgettable experience for us in Brunei the past few weeks, with flash floods occurring at places we never would have thought would happen, strong winds that you could hear the strong hissing of the winds, and lightning and thunderstorms occurring at night.I, for one, am afraid of lightning. Scared the wits out of me.

My advice is to always bring an umbrella with you, stay indoors as much as possible (probably now its a good time to spend time with your family) and be careful when you're driving (don't forget to switch on your car headlights).

Buckle up and drive safe everyone.
